The Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) returns this September, and Rex Education is set to mark the occasion with a milestone celebration. As the company commemorates its 75th anniversary, REX is bringing extra excitement to the country’s biggest book event through free admission tickets, exclusive promos, and a showcase of its journey in championing education.

Running from September 10 to 14 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, the celebration begins with a special treat from REX—free admission tickets. What’s great? Claiming a pass is quick and easy! Just scan the QR code below, download and print the ticket, and present it at the entrance. With this free ticket in hand, guests are in for a 5-day treat at the fair—filled with books, fun learning activities, and new offerings waiting to be explored.

Along with free admission, visitors can look forward to special promos, exclusive discounts, and exciting surprises to be announced in the coming days. Taiwan Healthcare Pavilion to Showcase Innovations at Taiwan Expo 2025 in the Philippines

 

Taiwan Expo 2025 in the Philippines will take place from September 17 to19 at the SMX Convention Center. One of the main highlights of the expo is the Taiwan Healthcare Pavilion, located at Booth C1, Function Hall, 2F, showcasing Taiwan’s latest advancements in healthcare. The pavilion will feature 21 leading Taiwanese medical companies spanning hospitals & clinics, smart healthcare, medical devices, and biotech & wellness.

 

In the hospitals & clinics sector, the Taiwan Healthcare Pavilion will showcase Wanfang Hospital, Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital’s specialty care, Dalin Tzu Chi Hospital’s Arthroscopic Cartilage Regeneration Facilitating Procedure (ACRFP), Chang Gung Memorial Hospital’s cutting-edge proton therapy, and Ivyuen Biomedical’s reproductive medicine solutions.

 

The smart healthcare section in the pavilion includes Brainmate’s dementia cognitive system, Acer Medical’s retinal imaging technology, along with telehealth platforms from Far East Medical and Biosensete. Medical device innovations will highlight aesthetic lasers, cardiovascular therapy equipment, and electro-acupuncture devices. Meanwhile, the biotech & wellness sector will showcase skincare solutions, collagen dressings, essential oils, and nutritional supplements.

 

Visitors of the Taiwan Healthcare Pavilion can also join two events: the “2025 Taiwan Healthcare Products Showcase: Innovations in Medical Technology and Healthcare Solutions” on September 17, and “Shaping Tomorrow Together: Taiwan-Philippines AI Innovations in Smart Healthcare”, hosted by Wanfang Hospital, on September 18.

Taiwan Excellence Pavilion to Exhibit 20 Premier Taiwanese Brands at Taiwan Expo 2025 in the Philippines

 After its circuit across different countries this year, Taiwan Expo 2025 will finally make its landing in the Philippines at the SMX Convention Center this September 17-19. Among the exhibitors at the expo is the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion, with the theme titled “Inspiring Tomorrow: Solutions for a Brighter Life” at the helm. The pavilion is set to exhibit 20 Taiwan Excellence-awarded brands and 39 products that are dedicated to improving everyday life. Along with the display, the pavilion will be featuring special activities such as an opportunity to meet with the special guest of the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion: Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray.

On the first day of Taiwan Expo 2025 in the Philippines, attendees will have a chance to attend a meet and greet session with Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray at the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion. The international beauty queen and humanitarian will make her appearance at the pavilion to highlight the collaboration of Taiwan and the Philippines in creating and distributing solutions to improve quality of life for all. FuBear, the Taiwan Excellence mascot, is also set to appear in all three days of the expo, extending his mission of giving one million high fives to visitors of the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion.

Celebrating Future Educators: REX and UP Honors Outstanding Graduates of UP College of Education

 Rex Education recently recognized the exceptional achievements of the 2025 graduating class of the University of the Philippines College of Education by presenting the REX Edukampyon–UP College of Education Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence to this year’s summa cum laude graduates.

Earning the distinction of summa cum laude is no small feat. It demands years of discipline, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to excellence—not just in academics, but in personal growth and service to others. For students in the College of Education, the journey is especially challenging. It means mastering one’s field of specialization while also honing the patience, empathy, and communication skills that the teaching profession requires. Many balance these demands alongside community involvement, part-time work, or family responsibilities, making their success even more remarkable.

Understanding the importance of recognizing this hard work, Rex Education, in partnership with the University of the Philippines College of Education, presented the REX Edukampyon–UP College of Education Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence to nine members of the 2025 graduating class. The award recognizes students who graduated summa cum laude and highlights their academic achievement and readiness to enter the teaching profession.
